Holidays are such an easy time to teach and spend time with young children. Kindergarten is such a fun age. Between an Easter egg hunt and jelly beans its a perfect time to pull out picture books. I love picking up new books at any holiday just as an excuse to read to my littles. Reading to our kids is one of the best things we can do. I have a list of my favorite Easter books. I have included some classic books with beautiful illustrations and board books.

I also wanted to throw in my favorite books for kindergarten and older kids. The kingdom of God has lovely illustrations and it is the perfect gift for Easter morning. This is an excellent choice for teaching children the Easter story. it is a classic book that helps young readers learn about Jesus Christ and God’s plans. It really is the perfect easter gift. Reading it has become one of our favorite easter traditions.
Although it is not an Easter Rabbit. Little Pilgrims Progress is a great book with colorful illustrations about a little bunnies adventure similar to the classic Pilgrims Progress.
It is so important as parents we teach our children the true meaning of easter. Help them look past colorful eggs. Teaching them in books and in life will impact future generations.
