As a busy mom I love gleaning form other Christian women. With six kids, constant cooking, cleaning, and endless laundry it can seem impossible to squeeze in God’s word past a few quiet moments with my bible. For the past five years I have have turned to weekly podcasts as practical way to fit more of it in. There are now so many amazing Christian podcast for moms! I love weekly podcast episodes that help me keep Jesus Christ the center of my heart and focus. I love knowing new episodes are always in my podcast library with practical tips, bible studies, advice for spiritual growth and how to focus on God in everyday life.

The Shift on Social Media
There has been a shift on social media. An uprising of faithful Christian women standing strong in their faith and getting louder and louder. It is so beautiful to see. I remember years ago searching for what seemed like hours for any other working Christian moms or a Christian stay-at-home mom that had a platform. My search fell flat. I chalked it up to it not existing. Maybe there was no practical ways to be present online in the Christian faith. Now in 2023 there has been an explosion. Hundreds of thousands of women coming forward. Love God and sharing their faith on every single platform. There are so many different podcasts now I actually had a harder time narrowing down my favorites. What a wonderful problem to have.
According to some studies we now check our phones about every 4 mins. That is a disturbing fact. But if you want to make that statistic a little bit better fill your phone with Christ. Start searching for these amazing faithful women on every platform. Pinterest, blogs, podcast, Instagram, Youtube, even Tiktok. With all the awful on the internet. Fill it with people who remind you of the goodness of God.
Why Podcast?
As a mom I have tasks (daily) that take me 30 minutes to a few hours to complete. Dishes? Yes I have plenty. You will find me stationed at my sink for a minimum of 45 mins twice a day. I am not mindlessly scrolling with soapy dish hands. Laundry? With six kids, four being boys who seem to love dirt. You will find me twice a weekly folding for at least a few hours.
Grocery shopping? Yes, I’m in charge of that too and those long drives to and from town. I am happy to listen to anything other than Disney soundtracks. All the other tasks like hauling wood, shoveling snow and weeding the garden can be long, draining and mundane. So I have chosen to turn them into a bible study. To take that time for my mental health. To take that time to invite the Holy Spirit in with biblical truth.
I love podcast for family life as a Christian mom. Ones with practical advice and encouragement for my mama heart. Our everyday lives can feel so mundane and sometimes even lonely. Podcasts are a great way to remind us to put our focus in the right place. Constant encouragement to set the tone for our home. Help support our husbands and guide our children with the word of God to Christ.
Busy Moms need Podcasts
We all have busy schedules. As Christian parents we are watching the darkness and evil of he world becoming greater and greater. We know to prepare our children and our hearts for hard times then need one thing, Jesus. So my advice is to turn that mountain of laundry into a happy hour podcast mountain.
Here is a list of the best Christian Mom Podcasts

1.Finding Joy in Your Home. Jami Balmet was the first Christian mom podcast I ever found. She had I think five kids when I first started following her and at the time I had four. Her realistic approach to keeping God the center of her home was so encouraging to me. She honestly inspired me to create this blog. Because of her I knew it was possible for Christian women to really make a difference online. Jami is an amazing author and you can find her books and other resources here.
